Hornsby Shire Council partnered with Place Score for the Australian Liveability Census in 2021, 2023, and 2025, allowing the opportunity to utilise longitudinal community sentiment data regarding liveability.
“Looking at the Shire through a liveability lens has helped to start new conversations within the organisation about whether we are investing our limited resources on what is actually important for our community – or whether it is invested on what we just think is important.“
Additionally, further inquiries, such as a Housing Insights report in 2024, were investigated using Place Score’s community liveability data, and supported conclusions made towards high-density living in the Hornsby Shire.
